Resumo: The research sought to analyze the working conditions of the field social worker and their repercussions in the development of the field supervision and the trainee's professional training. The first chapter presented the methodology used to develop the research, aiming to enable the reader to understand the path, the method, the universe, the subjects, the stages, and the instruments used. The second chapter dealt with work in capitalist society, the working conditions of the social worker in contemporary times, and the societal transformations that condition the world of work. The third chapter aims to understand the process of professional training of the social worker in the contemporary world, concurrently sought to present the data seized through interviews with the supervisors of the field of training linked to the NESS (FCHS), presenting the trainees' conception through the optics of the supervisors, such as supervision, the social worker's working conditions and their refutation in the trainee's future training and professional performance ( The). The study was based on the method of dialectical historical materialism with a qualitative approach; the bibliographical research was used to base the theoretical knowledge and to base the data analysis, and the field research with a view to bring the researcher closer to the social reality studied. The results show that working conditions directly influence the development and quality of the work, the field supervision and the professional training of the student, including determining the beginning of the trainee's approach to the work of the social worker, being able to attribute significant or weak experiences However, through the empirical categories, some elements have proved to be determinant in this process, such as: continuing education, horizontality and the supervisors' commitment to the profession, to the training and to the future professional performance of the trainee.
