Resumo: | The main purpose of this work is to pursue a pleasant way of working math in the classroom, mainly fractions and decimals, without overlooking the accuracy that mathematics requires. For this, we will first study the formation of the set of numbers, in a formal way, and we will demonstrate the key facts relating to the topic. Then, we will search for some ways of working such contents in a useful way without losing accuracy and respecting the boundaries of the educational attainment in which students are. As fractions are one of the topics that most has been frightening elementary students, and are frequently seen in a specific unit of the textbook, as well as other matters, which can lead students to think that the contents are detached, we will suggest an unconventional way to work. In addition to concrete and fun activities, we will organize a teaching plan that brings the study of fractions diluted throughout the school year, therefore showing that these numbers are always present in mathematics and in everyday life |
