Resumo: | The research aimed to conduct a study on the phytosociologic dynamics of vegetation cover from FLONA Palmares and its surroundings, located in the far west of the city of Altos-PI, from the knowledge of landscape units, environmental conditions and forms of land uses and covers, under the theoretical and methodological basis of the GTP system (Geosystem-Territory-Landscape) Bertrand and Bertrand (2009). The UC is located on the administrative border of the municipality Of Altos and Teresina, state of Piaui, Brazil. It is the only protected area in the category status of National Forest and it was created by the Federal Decree S/N of 21 February 2005, with an area of 170 hectares. The FLONA of Palmares is inserted in a context of natural transition, phytogeographic and morphoclimatic and it's most striking feature semidecidual the seasonality of vegetation, predominantly made up of forest species. The pattern of geomorphological forms of the unit is supported by a set of geological structures from the Parnaiba sedimentary basin, conditioned by the action of atmospheric and hydrological factors that regulate the dynamics of the regional natural system. The research is developed based and driven by the geosystemic approach of GTP system (Geosystem - Territory - Landscape), and based on the application of procedures indicates in the methodological proposal of this system, covering phytosociological surveys, thematic cartography, representation of vegetation through pyramids and interviews with residents (subjects) of the unit's area of influence. Aiming to: a) identify and map the environmental units of the studied territorial portion... |
