Resumo: I'm a psychologist, formed by UNIMEP (Methodist University of Piracicaba), and since graduating from time been interested in disciplines related to psychopathology, especially the deficiencies, conducting courses in the areas of Public Health and Special Education. After a few years since graduation, I started volunteering at the Center for Therapeutic Riding the River Riders Club Of course, revealing to me the magical world that fascinated me the relationship between humans and animals, where so I started to improve my knowledge in the area . With the experience of years of practice, observing and collecting positive results in this therapeutic technique, tried to further deepen my knowledge. For a time, I and my advisor thought and rethought about médoto used in riding therapy, and after reflection and change of look we reached our goal, unveiling the technical understanding of the phenomenon applied by professionals working in the Therapeutic Riding Center. To perform this study interviews were conducted with four professionals of equine therapy: two physiotherapists, a speech therapist and a Equitador. During the reading will be observed the presentation on the riding therapy, which its applicability and importance in the health field, its influence on the globally practitioner (body and mind), the perception and the performance of therapists. Was carried out then the ideographic and nomothetic analysis allowing the construction of the results. This study showed ways to practice hippotherapy and highlighted the importance of psychological and security aspects. This is only a gateway to unravel the wonders of this therapeutic technique makes a reference to other studies on the subject
