Do estudo do memorial de Teresa Vergani à análise de sua obra em educação matemática: trilhando o caminho da matemática

Resumo: In this research we propose to examine the work of Teresa Vergani in Mathematics Education, taking as counterpoint the study of her memorial (KIECKHOEFEL, 2012). The question that moved us along the way was, which are the meanings and senses that emerge from the work of Teresa Vergani in Mathematics Education, when taken in the light of your memorial?, and, through it, we aim to provide an overview of his work situated in space and time and understand how moves his work in Mathematics Education, and seek insights into the Mathematics Education from the work of Teresa Vergani. To do this, we assume a phenomenological approach, we started the work highlighting snippets - Meaning Units - that helped us to provide an understanding of our research question, then hermeneutically interpret these stretches, and finally, reducing joint movements, in which the converging Meaning Units were pooled. Through the reduction movements emerged four Open Categories that represent the themes that stand out and are recurrent throughout the works of Vergani in Mathematics Education. The categories are: About the conception of mathematics; About the performance of Vergani; About the educational institution; and About the relationship with the other. Finally, we seek to articulate ideas in the Open Category About the conception of mathematics through the development of an intelligible text, looking for a move beyond that shown towards the transcendence
