Resumo: Aiming to evaluate the hormesis effect of glyphosate in vegetative components and production, in nutrient absorption and its relation to soil water availability, was proposed to study the subdoses of glyphosate, nitrogen fertilization and soil water conditions in common bean crop, the treatments being constituted by combination of subdoses of glyphosate (G) (0, 10 and 15 g acid equivalent (a.e.) ha-1), doses of nitrogen (N) in (0, 40, 80 and 120 kg ha-1) and water slides (L1: crop coefficient (Kc1) + precipitation; L2: Kc2 + precipitation) in 3x4x2 factorial design with four replications. The study was conducted during the autumn-winter 2013 in Experimental Farm for Teaching, Research and Extension of Faculty of Engineering of Ilha Solteira - UNESP, in Hapludox clayey dystrophic. The cultivar used was the IPR - 139 IAPAR. It was concluded that the use of glyphosate at sublethal rates of 10 and 15 g ha-1 acid afforded equivalent increase in levels of N in bean leaves. Was affected by water conditions during the crop cycle on the hormesis effect of glyphosate on bean. Occurred hormesis effect of glyphosate on bean productivity when used a total water depth of 355 mm, in which lies within the ideal range of precipitation for growing bean
