Resumo: In Brazil, the work of adolescents, especially those belonging to families that do not belong to the social class of those with economic power, is not new. The insertion of adolescents into formal work and regulated by specific laws is historically recent. Throgh the Federal Constitution of 1988 and the Law 8.069/1990, which regulates the Child and the Adolescent’s Statute, the professionalization of the adolescent becomes a right that must be guaranteed to all of them. In this context, Law 10,097/2000 establishes parameters for professional learning and regulates the adolescents job. Thus, the main objective of this research is to understand the particularities that guarantee or not the fundamental right to professionalization and protection in the of adolescentes job, based on professional learning programs, in Francisco Beltrão - PR town. To this end, the following specific objectives were defined: to contextualize human rights in the context of integral protection in the consolidation of the fundamental rights of children and adolescents in the national scenario; to understand the right to professionalization and protection in the adolescentes job through professional learning and the learning contract; and, to analyze the particularities of whether or not to carry out the right to professionalisation and protection in the work of adolescents in professional apprenticeship programs in Francisco Beltrão – PR town. The methodological approach used was the case study. The methodological procedures adopted were the bibliographical and field research. For data collection, structured questionnaires were used. And the analysis is guided by qualitative research. As a result, the reflections recorded reveal that the realization of the right to professionalization and protection in the adolescents job depends not only on the compliance with legal requirements, but mainly on the commitment to the responsibility for the quality of the human and professional training that is being offered to the adolescents.
