Resumo: The research aimed to analyze the effects of Integrative Community Therapy on the health and well-being of workers in a slaughterhouse in a city on the Brazilian border. This is an exploratory and quasi-experimental study that adopted the methodological reference of the evaluation of the TCI wheels, according to its proposer (universal themes, coping strategies) plus the scale of faces and the questionnaire. The data were collected by the therapist and his assistant. This was followed by observation and recording in a field notebook about the main universal themes and coping strategies reported by the participants during the conversation rounds, as well as by the use of a socioeconomic questionnaire containing questions about the participant's profile, which included questions about: gender, age, education, marital status, time working in the company, position in the company, presence of chronic disease, knowledge about CBT, and about having used some type of PIC previously. As a result, the study demonstrated that the methodology developed in the TCI wheels has the potential to empower the participants to face the crisis of integrity, mobilizing the protected scenario to appreciate with wisdom the path taken in their own lives, understanding and integrating the path of the other participants, confronting the experiences, as conscience, from the collective experience and overcoming the challenges within the same work sector. And that worker aged between 18 and 20 are 4.28 times more likely to have an improvement in their emotional state. It was concluded that the application of the ICT methodology, when put into practice in groups of meat-packing plants workers, can serve as a basis for the improvement of interpersonal relationships, because it is a light social technology that allows to go beyond the unitary to reach the communitarian; to go from dependence to autonomy and co-responsibility; to see beyond deprivation to highlight competence; to go from the verticality of relationships to horizontality; from disbelief in the capacity of the other, to believe in individual potential; to break with clientelism to reach citizenship and; to transcend the model that concentrates information to make it circulate.
