Resumo: The present work with aimed evaluate the chemical composition and population of microorganisms in swine wastewater (ARS) in the affluent, effluent storage pond, soil, leaf litter and plant. On a producing property hay and haylage, grass Tifton 85 fertilized with swine wastewater. The chemical composition of swine wastewater is distinct in the influent, effluent storage pond, shoot and leaf litter, and in November compared to June. The application of swine wastewater interfere in soil chemical properties, except the CTC which was higher at a depth of 0-20 cm, as well as high in micronutrients Cu, Zn and Mn in soil and shoot forage, especially in November. Despite the diversity of the microbial composition of swine wastewater use does not compromise the health quality of forage. The cutting height of Tifton 85 hay to 4 cm has a higher population of bacteria compared to cutting height to 8 cm, especially at 60, 90 days after storage, except Bacillus which was higher at 0, 30 and 60 days. The most frequent fungal genus in Tifton hay production area 85 fertilized with swine wastewater is Penicillium. After 90 days of storage, the population of yeasts and fungi are reduced
