Resumo: | Brazil has established itself as the world's leading producer and exporter of chicken meat. This growth occurred through the opening of international markets, which allows the country to supply more than 150 countries with this protein. The highlight of exports is due to the sanitary quality of Brazilian products, the availability of natural resources and the strong role of the government in promoting exports and also in defending the interests of the sector. Thus, the objective of this research was to evaluate the impact of food safety, used as a non-tariff barrier in the export of Brazilian chicken meat, as well as to identify the strategies of insertion of slaughterhouses in international trade. The study data were collected, primarily through documents from Official documents. In the second stage, through the Delphi technique, questionnaires were applied to the specialists of the slaughterhouses and ABPA and, finally, a structural analysis of the variables was carried out using the MICMAC software. The main results confirm that international regulations are imposed in order to make it difficult for Brazilian chicken to enter international trade, that is, there are protectionist attitudes, which limit the advancement of exports, and that, therefore, it is up to the State to defend the interests of this well-known sector. how to promote Brazilian exports. |
