Resumo: | This dissertation is the result of the research and analysis carried out on the social function of the school and the role of education, considering the insertion of compensatory policies, as well as intersectoral work in educational institutions in the city of Três Barras do Paraná, with emphasis on the Health at School Program. The objective was to identify the interferences that these policies and the proposal of shared sectoral care cause in the quality of education, offering some subsidies for the discussion on the implications that they bring to education. For that, it was necessary to go through the history of education, verifying the changes it went through due to the transformations occurred in the material productive forces of society, portraying social policies and public policies, based on an analysis between what Historical-Critical Pedagogy advocates and its contraposition to Compensatory Education. It is a bibliographic and documentary research based on the CriticalHistorical Pedagogy, which adopts Historical-Dialetic Materialism as its method. A survey and analysis of documents were carried out at the Municipal Department of Education of that municipality, in order to ascertain the history, describe and analyze the implementation of the Health at School Program. Based on the research and analysis of the study carried out, it was found that compensatory policies, and specifically the Health at School Program, cause strong impact on education, interfering decisively in the educational process, sometimes jeopardizing the expected results in education. |
