Resumo: This dissertation has the objective of reflecting on the working class trajectory on the contemporary capitalistic society, disgusting the changes in the world of labor that keep happening in the last few years, especially on the so called service sector starting from the life and work experiences of the subjects that live this changes materially at his daily basis. The study that the research lays on, it s the merging process of Casas Bahia and Ponto Frio at Cascavel city Paraná State, the implications that this merger brought and keeps bringing to the working class by the impressions that the workers experience on the shop floor about the changes in their labor relations. Therefore, the mergers of big companies , big conglomerate formations, and the existing tendency in the capitalistic society at his monopolistic estate with relevance at the Brazilian retail sector, it s discuss starting at the life and work trajectory of the workers contributors at this store s, analyzing the impressions and pressures that the retail workers indicate and live at this process. In the edge of analyzing the several productive restructurings at the retail business, the research uses oral storytelling of employees and former employees at the two stores perceiving how these workers mean and configure these changes in the world of labor, even dictating dynamics in this space.
