Resumo: This dissertation presents the mapping and characterization of stroke altered bedrock under the Plateau de Palmas (PR) / Água Doce (SC). The methodology to achieve this objective was conducted in two main lines, one aimed at mapping the spill changed under rock sound and other features aimed at it, it was used in both field and laboratory techniques. Field leakage was mapped covering up the roads of the study area, recording your GPS location and later in overlays on aerial photographs at scale 1: 25,000. The information obtained in the field as well as those resulting from photointerpretation registered in the overlays in the laboratory were scanned using the Spring 5.1 software and Corel Draw X5. As a final product was obtained Geological Geomorphological map of the Study Area in Plateau Palmas (PR) / Água Doce (SC). From this mapping it appears that the spill changed stratigraphically located between two strokes rock sound, so your exposure on the surface can be related to the uplift of the Plateau de Palmas (PR) / Água Doce (SC). This process has been inferred by Paisani et al. (2008a). It is also observed that outcrops of this type are found both beneath the surface 1200m 1300m III as above surface I of Paisani et al. (2008a). This demonstrates that their distribution beyond the limits of the Plateau de Palmas (PR) / Água Doce (SC), giving it a regional character. The distribution of this spill changed therefore shows that the geomorphology of the study area was strongly influenced by tectonic lineament of the Iguaçu River Paleozoic age. The analysis of the drainage network shows formation of anomalous curves and inversion of relief isolated paleo 2nd order in watershed regional Iguaçu / Uruguai. This probably should have originated from neotectonic. To characterize changes in the stroke field was processed macroscopic description of the materials and collected samples for laboratory examination in two sections, the SS1 and SS2. The laboratory techniques used were: grain size distribution analysis micromorphology, clay mineralogy by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and by total chemical X-ray fluorescence (XRF). From the results of such analysis it was inferred that the stroke changed under the bedrock plateau Palmas (PR) / Água Doce (SC) is part of a system of low sulphidation epithermal hydrothermal whose style hydrothermal alteration is pervasive and predominant stage of change that stroke is the propilítico. This would correspond to hydrothermally altered stroke distal halo of a larger hydrothermal system. SS2 section the mineral is more representative chlorite using this mineral as a geothermometer can be inferred that the spill changed that section was subjected to hydrothermal fluids with temperatures above 300 º C. Section SS1 mineral cristobalite is the most representative. From the presence of this mineral is inferred that the spill changed was subject to fluids lowest temperature that section SS2, as this mineral is stable in the temperature range between 100 º C and 150 º C, appearing in those deposits farther away from the source warm fluid.
