Resumo: The objective of this study is to determine the Participatory Quality Index (PQI) of the No-Tillage System (NTS) in rural properties in the municipalities of Terra Roxa and Nova Santa Rosa - Paraná. In this paper, 50 rural properties that affect the NTS were analyzed, 25 of them in the municipality of Terra Roxa and 25 in the municipality of Nova Santa Rosa. Interviews were carried out with the agricultural producers of each property randomly, applying a questionnaire about the the producer profile, and a questionnaire about the PQI2, based on a set of indicators that encompass several important factors such as: Crop Rotation Intensity (CRI); Crop Rotation Density (CRD); Persistence of Residues/Straw (PR); Soil Preparation Frequency (SPF); Terracing (TC); Conservation Appraisal (CA); Balanced Nutrition (BN) and NTS Adoption Time (AT). In which each indicator reached an index of 0 - 10 for the conservation of the NTS from each property. The information was tabulated in excel spreadsheets and, respectively, with the calculations of the IQP index, both results were illustrated in tables and figures. Most interviewed producers are over 50 years old and have a low education level. In general, the final value of the PQI fluctuated, in the municipality of Terra Roxa the indexes were between 6.00 to 8.00, and in the municipality of Nova Santa Rosa between 6.13 to 8.75. In general, both municipalities had similar indexes and were considered good. Producers have shown difficulties in establishing crop rotation, also claiming that there is compaction at headlands, however, they reported the absence of signs of erosion due to the correct terracing. The possibility of crop diversification in the NTS is a solution for improving the PQI values of the studied areas, in addition to improving soil quality during the time of adoption.
