This master's thesis explores the experiences of workers in the city of Cascavel-PR, spanning from the 1990s to 2022. Examining the social relationships encountered by these individuals amid conditions of social vulnerability that characterize this historical period, I investigate how they generate alternatives in response to perceived needs and expectations. By highlighting these subjects in the context of social interactions, tensions, and pressures, I analyze their actions, ways of life, and class relationships in shaping the social dynamics of the city. To achieve this, I rely on oral interviews conducted with workers from the 14 de Novembro and Cascavel Velho neighborhoods (Loteamento Wilson Gonçalves) between 2018 and 2022, as well as local and regional commercial press (O Paraná, Gazeta do Paraná, Revista Oeste, CGN), social media posts and documents produced by the Municipality.
