Resumo: The water deficit during seed germination and establishment soybean crop can cause agronomic losses. The objective this work was to evaluate influence hydroabsorbent polymers on the leaf nutrient content and agronomics characters soybean crop. The design used was in randomized blocks in a 2 x 6 factorial scheme, with sources of polymers (Polim-Agri PP® and Hydroplan- EB/HyC®), doses of hydroabsorbents (0, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 kg ha-1), with four repetitions. The first experiment was carried out in the field, using a mechanized sowing system, where the phytotechnical characters were evaluated. The second experiment was carried out in a greenhouse, where planting was carried out manually, and the following evaluations were carried out: the levels of chlorophylls a and b, and nutritional values in soybean culture. The hydroabsorbent polymers: Polim-Agri PP® and Hydroplan-EB/HyC® at a dose of 20 kg ha-1 favored the obtaining of approximately 4% more plants with 322.083 plants ha-1 compared to the control without using these products with 310.000 plants ha-1. The doses hydroabsorbents increased number of grains per pod and mass a thousand grains, consequently, contributed to increase in productivity on time in farmer, but only up to the dose of 20 kg ha-1 of hydrogel. Finally, Polim-Agri pp® and Hydroplan-EB/HyC® hydroabsorbent polymers in all concentrations, did not stimulate the production of Chlorophyll a, Chlorophyll b and total Chlorophylls, did not influence the accumulation of macro and micronutrients and neither contributed to the better performance in phytotechnical analysis in soybean.
