Atividades de educação ambiental desenvolvidas no ensino fundamental em duas instituições do município de Assis Chateaubriand PR: entre o ideal da abordagem crítica e a realidade da corrente conservadora

Resumo: | As we proposed to work analyzing Environmental Education in the township of Assis Chateaubriand PR, the necessity of knowing the professors and other social actors´ practice arises, in the sense of deepening the analysis around this theme. The proposal of the research considers historical, economics, socials, politics and environmental aspects, based on the ample and complex context about the practice of Environmental Education, at Elementary School (6º until 9º degree). The research is justified, allowing knowledge from the occasional highlight and practice results of Environmental Education, of Geography professors, at two higher education institutions in the township of Assis Chateaubriand- PR, considering the influence of the State Education Department of Paraná (SEED) and Regional Center of Education in Assis Chateaubriand (NRE). Considering it´s required the Environmental Education according to the Federal Law nº 9.795/99, we´ve intended to identify which worked contents, the methodologies and the didactic researches are used by the professors. This way, it will be possible to comprehend how the Environmental Education actions are constituted, in the Formal Education. The temporal cut established in this research is between the period of 2003 and 2011 and the spatial cut is composed by two education institutions, where we´ve tried to know the diverse dynamics related to the Environmental Education in the Elementary School, one institution is located in the urban area and the other in the countryside. The proposed Environmental Education, can´t be a remedial practice for the diverse social groups actions in their environment, or be remembered as money economy. However we can´t ignore the way the Environmental Education thematic is leaded for the professors and students, making it difficult the social sensitization. We understand that the professor is the main element for the Environmental Education activities.
