Resumo: The local productive arrangements (APLs) were used by public policies as a tool to promote regional economic development. The objective was to identify and evaluate whether the evolution of the local productive arrangements occurred in the sectors of the extractive industry and transformation in the state of Paraná, in the period from 2006 to 2016. For this, the methods of normalized concentration index and exploratory spatial data analysis (AEDE) were applied. 57 Industrial APLs from the state of Paraná were identified in 23 economic sectors. Analyzing its evolution, it was possible to observe three situations: APLs that were identified in 2006 and evolved up to 2016 in number of companies and territorial expansion; APLs who have diminished their productive structure over the years, and even some that have ceased to exist; APLs that were identified in 2006 in a certain region, but with time ceased to exist, but another region that previously did not have APLs of this same industrial activity identified the presence of this same APL. We conclude that regions with more diversified productive structures have the greatest capacity to present concentration of industrial activity and, therefore, form APLs in various sectors, related or not.
