Resumo: Regarding to Geography teaching, the different languages are important tools to the learning process, because they help the teacher with the materialization of contents. It is important to consider that each individual has more ease in one of the ways to learn, among them the visual, the auditive and the kinesthetic (VAK). By knowing the learning styles, the teacher is able to organize contents in a clearer way to the effective performance of students in the classroom. Attempting to contribute with discussions involving this master’s research theme, there will be highlighted and discussed the main types of activities and pedagogical practices in the Geography subject, which involve Cartography and are applied by teachers from the state public education, pertaining to the Regional Education Center of Toledo. Then, it will connect the activities to the different learning styles, and therefore identify in which practices the learning styles are contemplated. It is an exploratory-descriptive study of case, with a quantitative approach, and qualitative evaluation. The intended result is the analysis of activities and pedagogical practices. This product can be a way of motivation and source for researches to teachers and education workers to think about their own practices amongst students.
