Resumo: |
This dissertation aimed to explore the researchers collaborative networks through the category "cultural heritage". The objective was to understand how they operate in the transmission and preservation of values and scientific and technological practices of Brazilian universities. Therefore, it was proposed a case study of the Herbarium of the Institute of Natural Sciences, which belongs to the Institute of Biosciences, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, in Porto Alegre/Brazil. The research was conducted with a mixed methodology of qualitative and quantitative techniques for collection and analysis of data. The results were highlighted in three lines of analysis: the division of scientific work; the role of ICN Herbarium between the database and the collection of scientific evidence and the importance of events, practical classes and laboratories throughout the formation and maintenance of researchers networks. As a conclusion, it was suggested that the dynamics of cooperation networks and ways of doing science developed around the Herbarium ICN can be thought of as an intangible heritage of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. |
