This study carry out an analysis about the municipalities of Alagoinhas and Aramari, located in the Economic Region of the northern state of Bahia, from results by the Bolsa Família Program. For this, it works with the legal basis of the Bolsa Família Program, presenting their pattern of operation, the target audience, the actions undertaken by the conditions in the area educational, health and social assistance; presents aspects of the trajectory of social assistance in the country with the purpose of identifying, in the structure of the Bolsa Família and its effectiveness, new ways that pointing toward a final break of the vicious cycle of poverty. The study sought to analyze the three dimensions of the programme to overcome hunger and poverty, which are the promotion of immediate relief of poverty through an income to the family, strengthening the exercise of basic social rights and coordination of complementary programs, such as generation of work and income. This is a qualitative research that aims to highlight the role of education in that context, understanding it as a significant part of the Bolsa Família Program, capable of generating local and regional development |
