Contemporary society has been undergoing changes aimed at increasing technological development. As a result, new strategies and learning paradigms have been proposed to improve more and more forms of education, providing more involvement and students´motivation and consequently greater educational success. Some of these learning paradigms are the Blended Learning (B-Learning) and Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL). The latter manifests itself through unity and mutual assistance among students with a tutorial where students haul doubts in the category of learning, enhancing teaching. There are numerous PAL learning strategies, among the most commonly used include: Peer Tutoring, Roleplaying, Reciprocal Teaching and Cooperative Learning. The Benefits of Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) for the smooth running of the learning process has been presented in recent papers described this research in the areas of appearance of leadership, interpersonal communication, trust in collective decisions, and allows students to renew their self-esteem, improve their academic results and feel independent and thus provide minimum dropout rates. Thus, the main objective of this master's work is the proposal of a methodology based on the PAL strategy, Cooperative Learning. The work done in this thesis aims to identify and define a prepared script of cooperative learning sections to be used by teachers who want to use this strategy as a pedagogical tool through the classroom and remotely. In order to illustrate the advantages and disadvantages of cooperative learning methodology has been proposed a case study using the Virtual Learning Environment Edmodo. The results obtained from the case study of learning assessments, both in questionnaires and in the assessment process have been possible to verify the possibility of the application of cooperative learning strategy in the classroom teaching as well as in remote education. |
