The growing potential of ecotourism in protected areas can be understood as an alternative to balance the environmental, economic and social objectives as their fundamentals are supported by sustainable development, this evaluation implements further benefits for tourism and the local population. This study aimed to evaluate the ecotourism potential of Coronel Olyntho Oliveira Leite park in the municipality of Paraguaçu - MG. A survey was conducted with 100 people from the community and tourists. In collecting data we used two methods of analysis the quantitative and the qualitative one is to define the user profile of the park and the other discusses the benefits that the park has brought to the city. The non-probability sample where the researcher determined that 100 questionnaires were applied was used because the park does not have entry and exit control of the regulars, we use closed and objective questions with the purpose of measuring the ecotourist profile. Concludes that Coronel Olyntho Oliveira Leite park has potential ecotourism with great biodiversity, several species of plants, investigated by biologists, my research was the practice of tourism, respecting the environment by ensuring that these natural and cultural attractions are available to visit for more time. |
