The aim is to analyze how Remote Teaching (ER) occurred during the first year of the pandemic, in line with the teacher’s working conditions and the ways in which TDICs are used; identify and present data obtained from the documents and legislation presented throughout the year, to continue the 2020 school calendar of the Municipal Education Network (RME) of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil. In this sense, the investigation demonstrated the difference between Distance Learning (EaD) and ER, as well as the perspectives of teaching and learning methods as the only alternative for ERE. As a result, the data point to the precariousness of the teacher’s work, an aspect that stood out, above all, during the pandemic.
