Resumo: This work presents a theoretical-experimental study from steady-state functioning of a self-excited three-phase induction generator operating together with the synchronous generator of salient poles for application in isolated generation, in many remote locations or due to the absence of the electrical distribution network, it\'s known the difficulty to generate electricity, so it is proposed here, contribute to the fine control voltage and reduce project costs in the implementation and expansion of islanded systems, due price for acquisition the asynchronous squirrel cage machine is less than synchronous. The operation between these two generators in isolated networks for steady-state is totally satisfactory, the mechanical power control can be done in practice by injecting water/steam in the turbine or diesel engine, and the terminal voltage control is accomplished by excitation system control of salient poles synchronous generator , giving a tolerable margin and perfectly acceptable for the voltage amplitude, showing that the synchronous generator can play regulatory role voltage, feeding or not the load together with the self-excited three-phase induction generator, since a portion of their capacity is reserved for generating or absorbing reactive, as rules the load request. To validate the proposal, computer simulations are carried out according to the experimental tests, comparing the results simulated and collected in practice in the laboratory.
