Resumo: This study aimed to assess the relevance of using the Sandplay in children from kindergarten with symptoms of hyperactivity, impulsivity and/or inattention. The study is justified by the significant increase in the diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and, as a result, the use of medication to control symptoms, despite their possible deleterious effects. Six children, aged four to six years, their guardians and teachers participated in the study. The instruments used for the research were: semi-structured interviews with teachers, application of the SNAP-IV questionnaire and anamnesis with family members; Sandplay Game; character miniatures; and 10 psychological sessions using Sandplay. At the end of the study, interviews were conducted with guardians and teachers, and the SNAP-IV questionnaire was reapplied, in order to verify if there were changes in the symptoms presented by the children after the intervention. It was obtained, through the research, that there was a decrease in the symptoms of attention-deficit in all participants, as for the symptoms related to hyperactivity and impulsivity, significant improvements were noticed in all children, with the exception of one. Although the study cannot be generalized due to the size of the sample, it brings important indications about the use of sandplay in educational contexts, demonstrating that it may be interesting for school psychologists to have knowledge about its procedure, since it can contribute to child development, such as to help reduce stereotypes present in the school context. It was observed that Sandplay acted as a bridge of interaction between the unconscious and the conscious, making psychic organization possible, helping to reduce symptoms.
