Resumo: | Currently the electric power quality is a theme of great interest for electric utilities, consumers, and regulatory organizations; therefore, the causes and effects related to disturbances in the network and the mitigation solutions must be known. In this scenario, we recognize the importance of studying all phenomena that can disturb the electric power; however, knowing the causes and effects of the voltage fluctuation phenomenon as well as preventive or corrective measures to solve disturbances stands out, because there are still gaps related to the performance of electrical equipment to be used in this situation. This study aims to evaluate computationally the performance of a Twin-Tripler saturated core reactor compensator to attenuate voltage fluctuation. The modeling of the compensator was developed in the program Simulink as an alternative to the Alternative Transient Program (ATP), which has been used in many publications and compensator performance studies. |
