Resumo: | Mathematics is a science that has been part of people's daily lives for centuries, and emerged to meet human survival needs. The use of technologies in teaching this science is a way to gain students' interest. The social network Instagram is widely used by young people and has many pages that can teach content in a light and fun way. The study sought to understand how young people interact with the social network, how it can be used as a tool to support mathematics teaching and how this use is linked to active teaching methods using the narrative approach to build knowledge. A search was made for pages that deal with mathematics content and to observe how they can be actively used in teaching. It was observed that there is the possibility of considering Instagram as an active method and that it can be used as an auxiliary tool for teaching, a way to complement learning. It was concluded that the tool can work to support classroom content and gain student participation. |
