Resumo: The indetermination constitutes theme in the approaches of grammars and in the linguistic researches under varying perspectives. These ones, many times, (re)produce, even with a certain difference, the way of traditionally conceiving it, or rather, intrinsic to the use of some linguistic forms and aiming at certain intentionality: the intentionality of hiding, not knowing, can‟t reveal or not wanting to reveal. Noticing, since our first studies about this theme, the possibility of the indetermination happens related to other forms not commonly suggested and the need for, to investigate it, approaching questions about meaning, we start to conceive it as an effect of meaning and that, because of this, must be thought in the relation to other(s) (effect(s) of) meaning(s), what justifies the fact of, since then, saying in terms of in-determination. Therefore, effectively thought under the semantic perspective, the reference, to which we put to the definition of in-determination, comes to us as an important question. In view of the most part of our questionings about the in-determination occurred when observing the functioning of the commentaries to the political cyber news, specially the dissolution between the public-private limits, our aim is to investigate the functioning of the in-determination in these commentaries, to answer the following research question: how does the in-determination work and what does it make work, semantically, in such commentaries? We hypothesize that, in the commentaries to the cyber news, the in-determination is intensified to the level of producing certain functionings and effects proper to this discourse practice. To answer this question and ascertain our hypothesis, we investigate commentaries to political cyber news from the online newspapers Estadão and Folha de S. Paulo , having Michel Pêcheux‟s Discourse Analysis, mainly in its third epoch, and some concepts (reformulated) from the Theory of Language, by Émile Benveniste, as our theoretical basis, since these are semantic theories that allow us promoting a theoretical displacement/detachment to think the in-determination as an effect of meaning that happens, in spite of the interlocutors, as a constitutive functioning of the referential construction.
