Resumo: lhe Correio de Uberlândia in the O Estado de Coyaz began your activities as divulgalors o f the interests o f the political body of the eily in the year of 1938. This research has purpose of bringing to the tone some diseussions conceming the massificação of the teaching transmitted in this that is in one of the principal newspapers of the city of Uberlândia, MG. 'lhe massificação of lhe teaching discussed in referred him newspaper, besides being in synchrony witli the historical process o f that moment, in that most o f the period went by exception regime, such a process is intimately linked the idea of checking to this space geopolilics, that is the area of the Triângulo Mineiro the status of modem, lhe city of Uberlândia appears in that project, at the levei of the speech, as a type o f vanguard, demanding for itself the leadership spirit in the field industrial, commercial, cultural and educational. Of the theoretical-methodological point of view, we took as support, besides the speciíic approaches on the I listory of the Education, the literary goods of the iníormative joumalism and dominative: notes, editoriais, goods, news, reports, which compose our documental corpus. lhe investigation based on the ideological speech in rclation to the mass teaching, portrayed in fence 30 joumalistic goods. Inside of the referred process, it deserved of our part a careful glance about the political action in these sections, as the construction of rural and urban schools with the goal of assisting to a portion every time larger of the population, according to the official speech. What was put in the speech o f the articulates it coincides with the period in the area of the Triângulo Mineiro, especially the city of Uberlândia; they went by a socioeconomic and cultural transformation important. In the analysis o f those speeches, it was possible to notice the articulation among the desire of extending the teaching to most o f the population uberlandense and the local political action, attracting for her great groups of immigrants among the years Irom 1950 to 1960, mainly. lhe goal of the reform of the teaching proposed for the area, besides being in synchrony with the historical process of the education developed in Brazil starting from 1940, it presented an ideological character around interests, whose infra-structural bases would culminate in the process of qualification o f the labor, necessary to the industrial phase of the capitalism, and, logically, the process of modemization of Uberlândia.
