Resumo: | This work presents the analysis and the experimental development of a topological structure of a Bidirectional Single-Phase Hybrid Rectifier (BSHR) with High a Power Factor (PF) and reduced Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) for applications in DC Microgrids. The proposed structure offers the rectifier or inverter operating characteristics according to system demand by draining a current in accordance with the IEC 61000-3-2 power quality standard during a rectification and injecting a current in accordance with the IEEE 1547 standard during the injection. In order to analyze the behavior of the proposed topology, a computational model was implemented in the PSIM® platform through which it was possible to verify the efficiency of the control strategy for sinusoidal current imposition based on real-time THD calculation during normal operating conditions (working as a rectifier) and also the supply of a constant DC bus and active power injection in the grid during the surplus energy condition (power inverter operation). Finally, in order to corroborate with the proposed theory, a prototype was developed for nominal power of 1kW with digital control strategy implemented from a DSP (Digital Signal Processor). Individual tests were carried out in each of the stages of operation besides tests presenting the transition between the two modes in order to prove its characteristics of hybrid and bidirectional structure. |
