Resumo: | This work has as objective to elaborate proposals of use for the Hydrographic Basin of the Guaribas Stream, in Uberlândia-MG. For this, it was looked to know the physical attributes of the basin through the ambient diagnosis and also the dynamics of the occupation of lands to verify the conformity of the use with the ambient legislation and the type of relief, rocky and alone basement. Also we consider the recommended use and the ambient scenes, in order to indicate the sustainable use for the basin, in view of the description of occupation of same and the trends and perspectives of occupation for the future. The basin is located in the limit between the urban perimeter and the agricultural area of the city, in an area of urban expansion. The analysis of the use of the land in the years of 1979, 1997 and 2007 indicated that the natural vegetation lost space for agriculture, pasture and more recently for the urban occupation, had to the growth of the city. One also evidenced that the draining net was modified, mainly with the creation of dams and shunting lines in artificial canals. The areas where the erosive processes are more operating throughout the basin are located inside of the urban perimeter. The mapping of the ambient fragility indicated that most of the basin possesses a related natural vulnerability to the sandstones of the Marília Formation, that associated to the use of the land provokes a bigger fragility to the area. |
