We live in a liquid society, everything is fluid, including our social relations. Through the cajón, a methodology of sharing emotions in the classroom, this work sought to create loopholes in the midst of this liquidity. A meeting was held with students of the discipline of Sciences and Media, of the course of Biological Sciences of the Federal University of Uberlândia, where through narrative research we observed the statements and dialogued with Bakhtin, Bauman and Spinoza. From the narratives, we conclude that in an environment where empathy and otherness materialize, we create an environment of respect, free of stereotypes and with less judgment. By assuming this position before a society where everything is changed, we act responsibly, living a life without an alibi. We become free, and in freedom we are powers. Creative powers.
