Resumo: | This dissertation addresses the challenges and risks associated with traditional training for helicopter-based shooting in the Military Police of Minas Gerais (PMMG). To mitigate these issues, a virtual reality simulator based on serious games was developed and evaluated, aligned with the annual shooting training of the State Aviation Command (COMAVE). The simulator aims to provide an immersive and controlled virtual environment that enables the improvement of Tactical Operators' (OATs) skills, including weapon handling, precision shooting, and decision-making in critical scenarios. The development followed the Design Science Research (DSR) framework, involving the creation of detailed models of aircraft, weapons, and urban scenarios specific to the PMMG. The prototype was evaluated by OATs, focusing on usability, immersion, and training effectiveness. The results demonstrate that the simulator is a viable and safe solution, offering a promising alternative to conventional training. Future work suggests adding functionalities to enhance realism and scenario diversity, further improving OATs' preparation. |
