Resumo: | The Materials and Sterilization Center (CME) is a hospital sector whose mission is to provide assistance services for critical, semi-critical and non-critical items. It is a sector characterized by the lack of action planning that allows techniques and activities to be carried out in a impeccable, harmonious, respectful and safe for its employees. In order for the quality of work to be ensured in the processes carried out at the CME, research must be a constant and always recurring movement, in order to identify flaws, optimize processes and identify relationships between these employees and promote professional training aimed at the needs of the location. . The study aims to understand work processes, their impact on the team's routine and interference with the quality of work, challenges related to gender, and the health and life of workers at the Materials and Sterilization Center. This is an exploratory, descriptive study, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, developing field research. It is expected to identify the factors that most distress CME employees and understand their perception of their role and vision as an actor in this sector and, based on this, seek tools to improve and promote well-being. |
