Resumo: This paper addresses the urban mobility through the service of motorcycle taxis, as a way to bring up a system of sustainable circulation, justifying therefore the urgent need to know these new occupants of the public space. For in such a way, it was chosen city of Ituiutaba, in the interior of the State of Minas Gerais, for the accomplishment of related study, aiming to specifically meet the urban mobility on two wheels, to evaluate the legalization process that focuses on the theme, given that it was activity protected by municipal statute and since July 2009 by federal statute, to characterize the social reality of this means of transport in Ituiutaba, since its use is quite significant, and to understand the service of motorcycle taxis while a new challenge for the transport, possible of if becoming integrant factor of the sustainable development and the territory, resulting in an inclusive form of economic model. However, for both, it is recommended to be necessary to know the actors involved in this service in Ituiutaba, under penalty of not achieving the desired mobility sustainable and inclusive. Regarding the methodology used was based on literature, reviews the theoretical and conceptual and methodological, and also by critical analysis of the real situation of the taxi motorcyclists in Ituiutaba, through qualitative assessment, in its descriptive form, either using of scientific interview.
