Resumo: | The patterns of different variables in the cropping years and the interaction between cropping years for coffee cultivars, under irrigation, in the conditions of Uberlândia- MG, are important factors to determine the performance of these cultivars in order to identify the best ones. This study analyzed the performance of coffee cultivars in different years, from 2003 to 2006, and the variables plant height, stem and canopy diameters, production, yield and conversion. The experiment was done at the Coffee Sector of the Instituto de Ciências Agrárias, located in the Experimental Farm do Glória, belonging to Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. The cultivars were Acaiá Cerrado MG 1474; Catuaí Vermelho IAC 15; Catuaí Vermelho IAC 99; Catuaí Amarelo IAC 17; Catuaí Amarelo IAC 62; Catuaí Vermelho IAC 144; Mundo Novo IAC379-19; Icatú Amarelo 3282; Rubi MG 1192 and Topázio MG 1190, subjected to drip irrigation. After the evaluations, none of the cultiares for the Minas Gerais savannah, irrigated, in the conditions of Uberlândia MG, presented ideal performance for all variables. However, the short cultivars Catuaí Amarelo IAC 62, Rubi MG 1192 and Topázio MG 1190 presented acceptable average production. The cultivars Mundo Novo IAC 379-19 and Acaiá Cerrado IAC 1474, although not presenting ideal average for production and conversion, presented good performance for all other variables. The interaction harvest season with cultivar was highly affected by the variables production and conversion. The years with best performance were those of the productive harvest, except for the variable conversion in the year 2003. |
