Resumo: Dietrich von Hildebrand (1889-1977) was a philosopher whose concerns were focused on ethical and ontological issues. According to the philosopher, ethics is the foundation of the human person (center of the person), since it allows us to existentially situate ourselves in reality. In her phenomenological analysis of ethics and morals, Hildebrand raises the question of experiences, which can be divided into: unintentional experience, which are mere theological states and tendencies; and intentional experience, which are cognitive acts and responses in general (theoretical response, volitional response and affective response). The young philosopher focuses on the affective response, because according to him it is in the affective sphere that reality manifests itself. And the element present at the center of the affective sphere is the heart, a component that goes from the body to spirituality. Thus, the purpose of this study is to explain the phenomenological analysis of D. von Hildebrand's affectivity, from his anthropological phenomenological descriptions, for this, the theoretical-bibliographic method was used.
