Resumo: | The aim of this study was to develop a prototype monitoring system posture sitting position was maintained throughout the day, through the implementation of a platform force attached under the legs of a chair and the use of accelerometers. To monitor the displacement of COP has been developed a rectangular platform force and used three accelerometers of the kinematic development kit in the manufacturer shimmer Research to verify the changes in curvature of the spine in the thoracic and lumbar regions. Data were acquisitioned and stored by software developed in visual studio C #. To validate the system basic tests of force platform and accelerometers were performed as repeatability and natural frequency, beyond a pilot collect protocol, monitoring three times, two volunteers sitting on the prototype for 30 minutes with 30 minute intervals. The results obtained from volunteers were similar to those obtained in other studies, it is possible to check the increase of handling the chair, and increased sense of discomfort. |
