Resumo: | Introduction: The boundaries of conventional development models encounter the need to seek alternatives for organizing work, production, distribution, and marketing, generating a moment of societal transformation. Climate change and new technologies are prompting a reflection on human priorities, given the urgency to change our way of thinking and living. Objective: To analyze how solidarity economy enterprises (SEE) relate to conventional technologies in a context of sustainable regional development. Specific Objectives: a) Identify the general and technological profile of SEE; b) Describe the digital transformation of SEE; c) Investigate how conventional technologies influence contradictions in SEE. Methodology: Initially, a discussion was held regarding solidarity economy, sustainable regional development, and technologies within a critical perspective. Based on historical-dialectical materialism and through critical discourse analysis of six agents from the solidarity economy movement in the Triângulo Mineiro and Alto Paranaíba regions, the general and technological profile of SEE was identified, along with digital transformation and the influence of contradictions generated by conventional digital technologies. Transcription was carried out using artificial intelligence, with manual corrections. Results: The results demonstrated a dialectical, ideological, and dependent relationship between conventional technologies and solidarity economy enterprises. Moreover, the study highlighted the importance of creating public policies that promote the use of solidarity technoscience in these organizations through free software, enabling the advancement of a more transformative sustainable regional development. Relevance to PPGAdm Concentration Area (Regionality and Management) and Research Line: This research focuses on studying the Triângulo Mineiro and Alto Paranaíba regions to contribute to sustainable regional development. Additionally, it explores the perspective of solidarity economy workers regarding conventional technologies, aiming to deepen understanding of the relationships among individuals, organizations, and society. Innovative Impact on Intellectual Production: The innovative character and impact lie in the underexplored articulation between solidarity economy and technology, considering this relationship with sustainable regional development and seeking answers specific to our region. There is still a lack of clear understanding regarding the regional work of solidarity economy concerning its interaction with conventional technologies and its impact on sustainable regional development. The results could contribute to future policy formulation. Economic, Social, and Regional Impact: The economic impact lies in the pursuit of improving technology in solidarity economy enterprises in the region, which in turn generate local income. There is also encouragement for the establishment of new solidarity cooperatives. The social impact involves enhancing the awareness of solidarity economy workers, supporting more socially just and environmentally sustainable production, as well as promoting the dissemination of democratic and sustainable technologies. The regional impact stems from the fact that these enterprises are in the Triângulo Mineiro and Alto Paranaíba regions; furthermore, solidarity economy is based on local development, thus contributing to these organizations is a way to contribute to sustainable regional development. Regional Implications: This work systematizes the technological profile of solidarity enterprises in the region, contributing to the efforts of CIEPS and the creation of public policies that will generate income and dignity for movement workers sustainably, while also accumulating knowledge about new solidarity technologies. It also places the university in a debate that is not yet local but already exists in other regions of the country. Sustainable Development Goals Addressed in the Research: The research directly addresses SDGs 8, 10, 11, and 12, and indirectly all others. |
