Resumo: | This work presents a new proposal of switched power oscillator witli soft-switching. This new converter was named Self-oscillating Boost EIE Converter and it.s niain op-erational characteristic is that the oscillation eurrent lias been diverl.ed írom the niain switches allowing a substantial reduction of the eonduetion losses. Sincc scll-uscillai ing techniques are used, this converter presents low cost because there is 110 need to use auxiliary start devices and control circuits. Two different kincls of application were studied. applied as an Inverter St age ha Elec-tronic Ballast for Fluorescent Lainps and applied as a Self-oscillating Auxiliary Low Open Loop Power Supply. Applied as an inverter stage for eleetronic ballast. studics abotn o>-tablisher circuits and pre-regulators circuits were cleveloped. Design guide line of the Self-oscillating Boost EIE Converter and LCC Circuit are presenteei. Simulat.ions results and experimental results of four different prototypes built at laboratory are also included |
