Resumo: | The application of new techniques for data acquisition, processing and analysis of bioelectrical signals has contributed to the improvement of physiological monitoring. However, in some circumstances, it is necessary to record those data during complex activities, such as running and jumping. Conventional monitoring relies on devices that require a set of cables to connect the person to the equipment. This strategy has a number of drawbacks such as the increase in artifacts and the inconvenient os restraining important movements, hindering the faithful recording of the biological signals. This work describes the design and development of a telemetric multi channel system capable of recording several bioelectric signals (ECG, EEG and EMG). The proposed transmission system uses radiotelemetry via GFSK. It has also been implemented an USB interface for IBM/PC computer communication, and dedicated software for data acquisition and processing the collected signals. The results have shown that the system is robust, light weight and capable of monitoring physiological data via a secure wireless link. Examples of acquired signals are presented. |
