Resumo: In Ipameri town the beging of the twenty century the modernity is expressed by in Goiás railroad an extension of Mogian, with arrive Goiás state in 1.913, where stay stopped up 1.992, in the Roncador region (Ipameri county). This enterprise became the big project realized by dominate Ipameri society, formed by political leader, formed by coup and of industry, business and large owners of land. The Goiás railroad as the propeller of the progress and development to south region. The train came and turn dynamic the life of a town accustomed to the same rotine of Goiás land. Bring the possibility of the new which change. To change means also to built a civilized town wich had to start in the epoch by an urbanization project. Bu mean of the memories built by resident of the town it was possible to analyze about the to arise of the railroad transport in Goiás state, mainly in Ipameri, inside town, located at South Region, learning the sense of the urbanization project.
