The documents analyzed show the institution’s adoption of the competence model study in technical level professional qualification. For the skills development in the classroom, teachers have been working with daily business situations despising memorization activities. When asked about daily life skills model usage, teachers who said it is present could not express how it is done and those who were against this idea responded that teaching is still attached to the measurement and training that do not emphasize how teaching practice should be. From this research it is concluded that teachers seek to apply the competency model in their practice and to follow what is proposed by the SENAC Montes Claros documents / MG even encountering some difficulties to do so. Concerning the students, it is concluded that they have the employment concept since they believe the qualification will ensure them a job. The structural education duality presence was verified, since the low-income students, who first want to get a job and then continue the studies, are the majority of enrolled students. Lastly, the tradition and strength SENAC Montes Claros / MG have towards their students were proven. |
