Resumo: | The dissertation Theaters, Walls and Memories - Perception of theatrical production in Uberlândia (MG) seeks to reflect on the theatrical production carried out in the city of Uberlândia (MG) through the relationship between cultural production, memory and theatrical architecture. For this, its central point is the Teatro Rondon Pacheco, a theater which was deactivated in 2018. To tell and analyze this trajectory, we first go through the history of the city's theaters. Next, we review the cultural calls for the use of the Teatro Rondon Pacheco between 2010 and 2016. Finally, we look at the memories of a theater group with experience in this space, the Lobotomédia Cia de Humor. As a methodological path, interviews with artists and producers of the city were developed and data was collected from public archives, the official newspaper of the municipality, and online records from social networks and blogs. |
