The changes that took place in the labor market, imposed by the ongoing transformations at the center of the capitalist system, made labor relations more precarious, especially when these are related to an occupation and income structure as observed in the Brazilian economy. This will be verified in the worsening levels of unemployment, in the difficulty of insertion and in the exclusion of certain segments in the Brazilian occupational structure, since these effects reach more intensely certain “problem groups”, including the youth segment. Thus, by subordinating itself to the neoliberal ideology, with regard to the restructuring and deregulation of the labor market, it contributes to consolidating “processes of exploitation and exclusion”. Therefore, the increase in the Brazilian occupational structure is becoming increasingly evident, while the objective of social development becomes more distant.
