Resumo: | The pregnancy period is understood as a time of opportunities for interaction between users and health services, enabling comprehensive care that incorporates the principles of health promotion, health education, prevention, identification, and treatment of oral health-related problems, both for pregnant women and babies. The Ministry of Health advocates for monitoring by a multidisciplinary team, capable of meeting the health demands of pregnancy, and dental care is an integral part of the multidisciplinary prenatal care. In the practical scenario, the need for the organization and direction of the flow of dental care for pregnant women was identified, optimizing access to services and contributing to comprehensive, humanized, and effective care. The proposal that guided this work was the collaborative construction of a care itinerary from a dialogical and participatory perspective, transforming the spaces of professional action. It was an intervention project, supported by qualitative research, that used Focus Group and Collaborative Workshop strategies, mainly relying on understanding the potential to produce qualified listening spaces for users and workers on how to produce dental care during pregnancy. Data analysis resulted in the systematization of four thematic categories: "Autonomy: the private that (does not) organize the public"; "The silences of the Pandemic: the urgency and isolation"; "Health education: (not) everyone knows how to do it"; and "We want a place for us, understand?". The technical products that resulted from the proposal were the Dental Care Itinerary for Pregnant Women and the Educational Handbook on Dental Care for Pregnant Women. It is expected that the two products will be applied as instruments of management, assistance, and popular health education, facilitating the consolidation of dental prenatal care in the municipality and favoring the expansion of contributions to different contexts and realities of the National Health System, providing an opportunity for the experience to be replicated in other Brazilian municipalities. |
