Resumo: Situations of moral harassment and derogatory behavior can cause serious problems in the life of individuals, both in the professional and family spheres. The present work aims to discuss these issues by analyzing the experiences of women in management positions, in this case, technical-administrative servants of the Federal University of Uberlândia. For this purpose, the qualitative approach was used, with data collection through episodic interviews and analysis of reports from the Ombudsman and COPSIA (Permanent Commission for Administrative Sindication). The results were obtained through Content Analysis. The work in question aimed to find out if there are or situations of embarrassment and moral harassment involving women in managerial positions (administrative technical level) in the University. And the answer is yes. More than half of the interviewees, managers, have said they have lived or still live situations that can be categorized as Moral Harassment. Their speeches denote behaviors that caused threats, disparagement, humiliation, and criticism. These behaviors were repeated over time, bringing losses to the victims. We perceive by the experiences of the managers, that the predominant view is that attitudes and behaviors of harassment mostly depart from both sexes, although the male sex is represented in second place, prominently. The consequences of moral harassment can be mitigated by preventive measures, surveillance, through enlightening campaigns and actions of the organization. The UFU institution at this moment has two support for denunciations and consequent attempt to protect the server and the collective. They are Ombudsman and COPSIA. Speaking to the interviewees, most of them stressed that they had already heard about these competent bodies, but that they considered them distant from the university community, and that there should be more awareness and information actions for the target audience. Promoting actions of debate, reception and dissemination make this fight more clearly and forcefully. The victim needs to feel that there is nowhere to go and that appropriate measures can be taken. At the end of the work I propose an action / suggestion of orientation and promotion of knowledge on the subject, through a training course and informative booklet.
