The research is a master's thesis that aims to analyze the quality of the project and the perception of users of the Linear Park of Córrego do Oil. It focuses on verifying the levels of design quality related to the design of its functions, landscape elements and users' perceptual dimensions. The linear park typology was widespread in the 90s, with initiatives that made it possible to preserve the APP'S of the cities, contributing to the environmental balance, integrating the rivers and their margins with the urban fabric, thus inserting themselves in the open space system public areas of Uberlândia with premises linked to sustainability. For this, as a case study, the Linear Park of the Córrego do Óleo, located in the western sector of the city of Uberlândia, was analyzed. The architectural and landscape design of the park was designed by the City of Uberlândia and dates from 2011, being implemented in 2014. The analysis consists of the interpretation of the listed attributes that determine a satisfactory project for public spaces: vitality, diversity of uses and users, management and maintenance, infrastructure, security, sociability and sustainability. Such attributes were listed by a literature review in studies that consider the performance and quality of the built environment that functioned as analysis tools. To develop the research, a script of visits to the park was made, whose objective was to understand how the users appropriated the space, some questionnaires were applied to interpret the users' perception and some interviews were conducted without a previous script, all stages considered the attributes. The study consists of a quantitative methodology to consider whether the project is satisfactory or not and it is a critique of the contemporary landscape, contributing to the large area of contemporary landscaping that studies the morphology and shape of Brazilian medium-sized cities.
