Bem-estar no trabalho: relações com percepção de suporte organizacional e valores do trabalho em profissionais de tecnologia da informação

Resumo: The work is an essential component for the construction and development of personal well-being and happiness. The literature indicates the need to enhance the welfare of research work in order to create healthier and more conducive environment for personal fulfillment, as well as benefits to organizations. The well-being at work understood as a multidimensional combination consisting of three positive concepts: job satisfaction, involvement with this and affective organizational commitment is the focus of this study. Given the above, this study aimed to verify the impact of perceived organizational support and work values on welfare at work professionals in the field of Information Technology (IT). The study included 144 workers, and 71.5% were male. The average age of respondents was 30 years (SD = 6.32), the average time now is 4 years (SD = 2.85) and mean time in company is equal to 02 years (SD = 1.74). The predominant education (48.6%) was incomplete higher, followed by higher full (26.4%). On the area of operation, most were managed services (40%), followed by corporate IT (38%). We used valid and reliable instruments to measure well-being at work, perceived organizational support and work values. Workers were contacted personally in the company during his working hours. Descriptive analyzes were carried out, correlational (Pearson) and model testing was done using a standard multiple regression analysis to check the welfare predictor variables at work in IT professionals. The results showed alpha values suitable for the study sample (greater than 0.70). Commitment / job satisfaction had as an explanatory variable the perception of organizational support that explained 46% of variance. Job involvement had as explanatory variables the perception of organizational support and value the work line that explained 27% of variance. The importance of the organization's support in the wellness experience in the work of IT professionals is the main finding of the study. Figures for the work contributed modestly in wellness explanation. It is suggested to carry out studies with different samples in order to check the consistency of these results.
